Pulse for schools and preschools
Pulse lets a school or preschool send notices, fee reminders and admissions news to parents through the WhatsApp Business API, from one verified number instead of a teacher’s phone. Notices and fee reminders are utility messages, which Meta bills at its own rate, ₹0.115 each before GST. Pulse itself costs ₹9,999 a year including GST, set up by CloudFigma.
The day a decision is made
Holidays, events and changes in timing, such as a closure for Dussehra, straight to every parent.
The afternoon before
A second notice the day before an annual day or a parents’ meeting, so families plan for it.
A week before the due date
It names the term, the amount and the date, and asks parents to pay at the office or reply for details.
When admissions open for the next year
To parents who enquired, with Reply YES to book a school visit.
Within seconds
Timings, fees and admissions get the school’s answer at once. After hours, the away message says the office will reply the next working day.
These 3 templates come written in English, Kannada and Hindi. CloudFigma sends them to Meta for approval during setup. The examples below are filled in for Little Stars School, an example business.
school_notice
Holidays, events and changes, straight to parents.
Dear parent of Aarav, school will remain closed on Friday for Dussehra.
school_fee_reminder
A polite reminder before the due date.
Dear parent of Aarav, a reminder that the term 2 fee of ₹18,000 is due on 15 October.
admissions_open
Tells interested parents that admissions have started.
Hi Priya, admissions for the 2027-28 academic year are now open at Little Stars School.
The pack also answers these by itself, in the language the customer writes in: timings, address and directions, fees, admissions. A greeting welcomes new chats, and an away message replies when you are closed.
An example, not a quote: a school with 300 families. Every message is counted at Meta’s India rate before GST, as if none were free.
| Message | Category | Messages | Meta’s rate | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Notices to parents, about five a month | Utility | 1,500 | ₹0.115 | ₹172.50 |
| Fee reminders | Utility | 300 | ₹0.115 | ₹34.50 |
| Admissions-open message to enquiring parents | Marketing | 400 | ₹0.8631 | ₹345.24 |
| Meta’s charges for the month | Before GST | 2,200 | ₹552.24 | |
| Meta’s charges for a year | Before GST | 26,400 | ₹6,627 | |
| Pulse for a year | GST included | Nothing added | ₹9,999 |
In this example, Meta’s charges come to about ₹6,627 a year before GST, paid on your own card. Pulse is ₹9,999 a year with GST included, and adds nothing per message. Some messages cost less than shown: a utility message sent within 24 hours of the customer writing to you is free, and Meta does not bill a message it could not deliver.
