Pulse by CloudFigma
How to delete your data
In effect from 25 October 2026
This page explains how to have your data deleted from Pulse, the WhatsApp Business platform run by CloudFigma Private Limited (“CloudFigma”, “we”). Find the part that fits you: a business that uses Pulse, a person who connected Pulse with Facebook, or someone who received WhatsApp messages from a business that uses Pulse. Our privacy policy has the full detail.
1. If your business uses Pulse
Export first. While your account is open you can download your data as CSV files: Contacts › Export, Messages › Export and Payments › Export. Once your account is deleted we cannot recover it.
Ask us to delete it. Email support@cloudfigma.com from the email address of the account owner, with the subject “Delete my Pulse account” and your business name. Pulse does not yet have a delete button in Settings, so our team handles each request by hand. If you write from another address, we will ask the account owner to confirm before we delete anything.
What we delete: your Pulse account and team logins, contacts and customer fields, chats and messages with their photos and files, templates as saved in Pulse, campaigns, automations, the AI agent’s knowledge, connected integrations, API keys and webhooks, and the WhatsApp access token we hold for your account.
What we keep: invoices and payment records, for eight years, because Indian company and tax law requires it; and a short record that you asked for deletion and when we completed it. Nightly backups are removed on a rolling basis, so deleted data leaves them within 90 days.
What stays with Meta: your WhatsApp Business account, phone number and approved templates belong to your business in Meta and are not deleted by closing Pulse. You can manage or delete them in Meta Business Settings and WhatsApp Manager. Messages already delivered stay on your customers’ phones.
When: we confirm your request by email within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days of confirming it is you. Closing your account also stops your subscription renewing; see our refund and cancellation policy.
2. If you used “Connect with Facebook”
When a business connects WhatsApp to Pulse with Facebook Login for Business and Meta’s Embedded Signup, Meta gives Pulse a business integration access token, the WhatsApp Business Account ID, the phone number ID and number, and the account and display names, with the permissions whatsapp_business_management and whatsapp_business_messaging. Pulse does not receive or keep your Facebook password, your personal Facebook profile or your friends.
To remove Pulse’s access at any time:
- In Meta Business Settings (business.facebook.com/settings), open Integrations › Connected apps, or Accounts › Apps, choose CloudFigma’s app and remove it.
- Or, in the same settings, open Accounts › WhatsApp accounts, choose your account, open Partners and remove CloudFigma.
- On Facebook, open Settings and privacy › Settings › Business integrations, and remove CloudFigma’s app.
Once access is removed the token stops working. Pulse checks every connection each hour, marks one whose token no longer works as disconnected, and stops using it. To have the token and the account details deleted as well, email support@cloudfigma.com; we delete them within 30 days, or as part of deleting the whole account (section 1).
If you ask Facebook to delete your data when you remove the app and Facebook gives you a confirmation code, you can check that request on our deletion status page.
3. If a business messaged you through Pulse
The business that messaged you decides what happens to your number, your name and your messages; we hold them on its behalf. To have them deleted, write to that business. If you write to us instead, we pass your request to the business and tell you we have done so.
- To stop a business’s marketing messages, reply STOP to it on WhatsApp. Pulse records the opt-out and stops its campaigns reaching you.
- You can also block the business’s number in WhatsApp at any time.
4. Confirmation and tracking
We confirm every deletion request by email with a reference number, and email you again when it is complete. Keep the reference number if you need to follow up with us.
