Pulse for restaurants and cafés
Pulse runs a restaurant or café’s WhatsApp on the Business API: table confirmations, an order-ready message for takeaway, and weekend specials to regulars who opted in. Questions about the menu, timings and directions are answered within seconds. Pulse costs ₹9,999 a year including GST, and Meta bills each message to your own card at its rate.
When the table is booked
It repeats the party size and the time, so a mistake is caught before the evening, not at the door.
When the kitchen packs it
The customer comes when the food is ready instead of waiting at the counter.
The day after the order
Asked once per customer, with a one-tap link to your Google page.
Thursday or Friday, before the weekend
A campaign to regulars who opted in, with a photo of the dish at the top if you like.
Within seconds
A customer who writes “menu” gets your menu link, and one who asks where you are gets your address and map.
These 3 templates come written in English, Kannada and Hindi. CloudFigma sends them to Meta for approval during setup. The examples below are filled in for Spice Garden, an example business.
table_confirmed
Confirms the booking, the party size and the time.
Hi Arjun, your table for 4 at Spice Garden is confirmed for Saturday at 8 PM.
food_order_ready
Tells the customer their takeaway is ready to collect.
Hi Arjun, your order #215 is ready for pickup at Spice Garden.
weekend_special
Fills tables on a slow weekend.
Hi Arjun, this weekend at Spice Garden: 20% off all biryanis.
The pack also answers these by itself, in the language the customer writes in: timings, address and directions, menu and prices, book a table. A greeting welcomes new chats, and an away message replies when you are closed.
An example, not a quote: a restaurant with about 10 table bookings and 20 takeaway orders a day. Every message is counted at Meta’s India rate before GST, as if none were free.
| Message | Category | Messages | Meta’s rate | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Table confirmations | Utility | 300 | ₹0.115 | ₹34.50 |
| Takeaway order-ready alerts | Utility | 600 | ₹0.115 | ₹69.00 |
| Google review requests | Marketing | 300 | ₹0.8631 | ₹258.93 |
| Weekend specials, twice a month to 800 regulars | Marketing | 1,600 | ₹0.8631 | ₹1,380.96 |
| Meta’s charges for the month | Before GST | 2,800 | ₹1,743.39 | |
| Meta’s charges for a year | Before GST | 33,600 | ₹20,921 | |
| Pulse for a year | GST included | Nothing added | ₹9,999 |
In this example, Meta’s charges come to about ₹20,921 a year before GST, paid on your own card. Pulse is ₹9,999 a year with GST included, and adds nothing per message. Some messages cost less than shown: a utility message sent within 24 hours of the customer writing to you is free, and Meta does not bill a message it could not deliver.
